my little Elijah ... the last leg of the journey

I'm so excited to report that we are feeling better and are finding a new "normal" around here!

Elijah is doing great and adjusting well, but yes, we are also experiencing some of the typical struggles that can come with adoption and with loving a precious child that is all too familiar with trauma and loss.  These are the {ugly & hard} things most people don't like to talk about, but it's the reality of it all. That, however, is another post for another time...

Because the crazy has started to settle down, Lee was finally able to put together our final "We Are Home" video and like all the others, he did a great job.  I love that he has captured so much of our journey in this way.

...and here is a small glimpse into our life at home with Elijah...

:: first time out for ice cream ::

:: yes, we really did buy this shirt and yes, he really is wearing it ::
"made in China"
:: my boys playing with shaving cream ::

{that is Sam's wink ... such a cutie}

:: eating chocolate ::
 ... and loving it ...

:: all my munchkins ::

I know I've said it a million and one times, but thank you again, so much, for praying us through this season of our life.  Even after we've been home, so many people have continued praying for our health and adjustment and we have been encouraged and upheld by that.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
