missing teeth and pretty butter-fairies

Last weekend, the girls and I took a last minute jaunt to Ashville, North Carolina to see my parents and my sweet Aunt Wanda. They were going to spend the weekend at the cabin and we decided it was worth the drive to see them for a few days. We had a great time and the girls especially loved doing their aunt's make-up! Not many people would let a 4 and 6 year old loose with a bag of make-up and their face as the canvas...

While we were there, Addie was constantly wiggling her front tooth. It was so loose that I expected it to fall out any moment. It actually did within an hour of being back home!

This past week has been a busy one for us but has been fun. We've done a lot of fun things as we've gotten ready for halloween.

The plan for months has been for my girls to be transformed into M&M's for their halloween costumes. Addie wanted to be the blue one Ellee opted for green. A few days prior to the creation of the costumes, the girls spotted wings and skirts at Wally World and decided they'd rather be butterflies. No, wait...they were going to be fairies. Actually, butterflies were more fun. Hmmm....maybe fairies??? Hence the birth of butter-fairies! Their identity may have been questionable, but one thing's for sure...they were beautiful!! (Although I was looking forward to making the M&M costumes, this was TONS easier!!)

Our little butter-fairies had a fun night!
